Gal Gadot has officially confirmed her role in ‘Wonder Woman 3’, with James Gunn set to direct the film.
Gal Gadot expressed her love for the “Wonder Woman” series and shared that she will be collaborating with James and Peter on the third installment of the franchise.
Exciting news for fans as Gal Gadot has officially confirmed her involvement in ‘Wonder Woman 3’ under the direction of James Gunn and production by Peter Safran. During an interaction with ComicBook.com’s Chris Killian prior to the SAG-AFTRA strike, Gadot expressed her admiration for the “Wonder Woman” series and revealed her upcoming collaboration with James and Peter for the third installment.

“I love portraying Wonder Woman. It’s incredibly close to my heart. James and Peter have expressed their intentions to collaborate with me on developing Wonder Woman 3,” said Gadot.
Gadot previously starred as the lead in the 2017 film ‘Wonder Woman’ and its 2020 sequel, ‘Wonder Woman 1984,’ both of which were directed by Patty Jenkins. Chris Pine played the lead actor, Steve Trevor.
There were speculations about Gadot’s return since Patty Jenkins wouldn’t be directing the third film in the “Wonder Woman” series.
In addition to ‘Wonder Woman 3,’ Gadot has another exciting project in the works. She is set to appear in the Netflix thriller ‘Heart of Stone,’ alongside Indian actress Alia Bhatt and Jamie Dornan. In the movie, Gadot portrays the character of Rachel Stone, an intelligence operative tasked with protecting her organization’s most valuable and dangerous asset. The film is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on August 11, 2023.

“Heart of Stone” will serve as Alia’s international debut. In an interview with Mid-Day at TUDUM, Gal Gadot expressed her thoughts on why Alia was an excellent fit for the upcoming movie.
“I’ve been a fan of Alia for quite some time now. I’ve seen RRR. We were searching for someone who exudes freshness, has the talent to portray complex characters, and possesses a captivating beauty. Alia turned out to be the perfect choice,” Gadot stated
