As the weekend approaches, Shah Rukh Khan’s newest film, directed by Atlee, has the opportunity to continue its impressive box office run. Jawan has garnered widespread acclaim, not only in India but across the globe, earning it the status of a blockbuster. It is anticipated that the film will breach the ₹700 crore mark with its collections on Friday.

SRK: The Global Icon

According to trade analyst Manobala Vijaybalan, Jawan amassed an additional ₹28 crore in global collections on Thursday. He also provided a daily breakdown of the film’s earnings thus far:

Day 1 – ₹125.05 crore Day 2 – ₹109.24 crore Day 3 – ₹140.17 crore Day 4 – ₹156.80 crore Day 5 – ₹52.39 crore Day 6 – ₹38.21 crore Day 7 – ₹34.06 crore Day 8 – ₹28.79 crore Total – ₹684.71 crore

On Thursday, the film grossed $334,476 in North America, bringing the total gross there to $9,675,191, equivalent to ₹80.37 crore. One tweet stated, “SRK is poised to have two $10+ million films in the same year, possibly by Friday morning in North America, a record that will likely stand for a long time. And that’s not all. He also has the potential to become the ‘Number One Indian Grosser in North America,’ set to explode in theaters on December 22nd.”

Over its first weekend, Jawan was the second most watched film across the world after The Nun II. It scored a $62.7 million worldwide weekend.
