ICMR-NIRTH announces Technical Assistant, Technician, Lab Attendant vacancies

The National Institute of Research in Tribal Health (NIRTH) Jabalpur, a part of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), has recently unveiled 52 job openings for the positions of Technical Assistant, Technician, and Laboratory Attendant. Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria and have a keen interest can submit their applications for these positions until August 21 by utilizing the provided link within the vacancies section on the official website, nirth.res.in.
Vacancy Information:
- Technical Assistant: There are 23 vacant positions available.
- Technician-I: 17 vacancies are open.
- Laboratory Attendant-I: There are 12 vacant positions for this role.
Applicants are required to pay an application fee of ₹300 for participating in this recruitment process. However, candidates falling under categories like SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Women candidates, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from this application fee.

The selection process for the roles of Technical Assistant, Technician-I, and Laboratory Attendant-I will involve a Computer Based Test. The final merit list will be compiled based on a total of 100 marks, with 95 marks allocated for the CBT/written test and 5 marks for relevant experience obtained after acquiring the necessary qualification.
To qualify, candidates need to secure at least 50% marks in the Computer Based Test or written examination if they belong to the UR/OBC category. For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, the qualifying percentage is set at 40%.
