“Gadar 2” Box Office Collection In 2nd Week

Notably, “Gadar 2” has achieved the distinction of achieving the highest collection during its second weekend, marking a historic milestone in Bollywood.

During the second weekend spanning from Friday to Sunday, the film accumulated a noteworthy total of ₹90.47 crore over the course of three days. This achievement has overtaken a long-standing record previously established by Tollywood star Prabhas. Specifically, Prabhas’ film “Baahubali 2” etched its name in Indian cinema history by amassing ₹80.75 crore during its own second weekend.

Earning a remarkable ₹41 crore on Sunday… During the day of Sunday (August 20), Gadar 2 generated significant attention by accumulating collections exceeding ₹41 crore. Since its release on August 11, the film has managed to amass a global total of ₹375 crore within a span of 10 days. Serving as a sequel to the 2001 film “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,” Gadar 2 has certainly made its mark.

Sunny Deol, along with Utkarsh Sharma, took on the roles of the male leads in the film. Ameesha Patel and Simrat Kaur portrayed the female leads. “Gadar 2” was under the direction and production of Anil Sharma. The movie was crafted with a budget of approximately ₹80 crore.
Sunny shared his initial reaction upon witnessing the audience’s affection for “Gadar 2,” stating, “I experienced a lot of stress before the movie’s release. After the film hit the screens, I found myself both crying and laughing throughout the night. My father was present, and he observed me. I confessed to him, ‘I haven’t even had a drink. I am just overwhelmed with happiness, what can I do?'”
