Currently, Heart of Stone holds a 28 percent rating on the review aggregation platform Rotten Tomatoes, based on a cumulative assessment of 32 reviews to date. While this score may undergo modifications as additional reviews roll in over the next few days, the existing ratings suggest that the movie, directed by Tom Harper, has yet to capture the favor of film critics.
In her Hollywood debut titled “Heart of Stone,” Alia Bhatt assumes the role of Keya Dhawan in the Netflix release. Alia had previously disclosed that she filmed for the movie during her pregnancy. During an exclusive conversation with Hindustan Times, she discussed her portrayal of an antagonist: “Keya’s passion, her motives, desires, or necessity for the Heart hold rationale; there’s purpose behind it. She genuinely believes in it. From her perspective, she isn’t the antagonist. Thus, as an actor, it’s crucial to wholeheartedly embrace that perspective. It’s about vividly portraying both facets of her character with precision and concentration.”
