Aarya Season 3 Teaser: Sushmita Sen’s Stunning Transformation and Shocking Turn
The third season of Ram Madhvani’s gangster drama series, “Aarya,” is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on November 3. This marks Sushmita Sen’s return to acting after her role in “Taali.” Sushmita has frequently acknowledged the parallels between her character, Aarya Sareen, and her real life, particularly in their roles as fiercely protective single mothers. In a teaser for Season 3, viewers are shown Aarya’s near-death experience, which mirrors a similar incident Sushmita faced earlier this year.
The recently released teaser for “Aarya” Season 3, presented by Hotstar, features Sushmita Sen narrating her unexpected rise to power within the gangster world and the personal sacrifices it entailed. She emphasizes that she never aspired to become a powerful gangster but was compelled to do so by circumstances. The teaser shows Sushmita engaged in dealings with gangsters, smoking a cigar, and includes flashbacks from the previous two seasons. However, it concludes with a dramatic scene where Aarya is shot. She appears already wounded as she stands atop a fortress, and her children watch in shock as she falls after being shot in the chest. Sushmita’s voiceover at the end of the teaser expresses her disbelief that “the end” could come to this.
The teaser is aptly summarized on YouTube, stating, “Jiske sar pe taaj hota hai, nishaana bhi uss hi pe hota hai (The one who wears the crown is everyone’s target). #HotstarSpecials #Aarya Season 3, streaming from 3rd Nov only on @disneyplushotstar.”
Earlier this year, during the filming of “Aarya” Season 3 in Jaipur, Sushmita experienced a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital, where a stent was inserted in her heart. Remarkably, she not only recovered swiftly but also referred to the stent as a “beautiful” addition to her life.
Before “Aarya” Season 3, Sushmita Sen was last seen in Jio Cinema’s “Taali,” where she portrayed the transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant. In Season 3 of “Aarya,” she will be joined by Sikandar Kher, who reprises his role as her right-hand man, Daulat.
