Finally, after much anticipation, the release date for Panchayat 3 has been confirmed. The web series, featuring Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Raghubir Yadav, is set to premiere on May 28.
In recent days, Prime Video has been generating excitement about the release date of the highly anticipated comedy web series through various teasers and hints. Engaging fans in an online activity, they prompted participants to virtually pluck ‘laukies’ to reveal the premiere date. This interactive engagement lasted for three days, building anticipation among viewers.
Finally, on Thursday, much to the joy of fans, the creators revealed the date.
The announcement came via the streaming platform’s social media channels. Accompanied by a fresh poster featuring the release date, the post exclaimed, “You unearthed the laukis, and we revealed the prize.”

The upcoming season will reunite the show’s ensemble cast, featuring Jitendra, Neena, Raghubir, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, and Sanvikaa. Produced by The Viral Fever, this installment is helmed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and scripted by Chandan Kumar. It is set to debut in Hindi, with dubbed versions available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The initial glimpse of Panchayat season 3 was unveiled on December 9, 2023, showcasing Jitendra as Abhishek Tripathi on his trademark bike. The subsequent image in the series presented Ashok Pathak (Binod) alongside his cohorts on the show, Durgesh Kumar and Bulloo Kumar.

The series follows the story of Abhishek Tripathi, portrayed by Jitendra, an engineering graduate who, due to limited job opportunities, takes on the role of a secretary in the panchayat office of Phulera, a remote village in Uttar Pradesh.
It chronicles his journey of adaptation while shedding light on the intricacies and challenges of rural life. The show’s satirical elements have resonated strongly with audiences, garnering popularity worldwide. Its debut season, launched in April 2020, quickly gained acclaim. The positive reception paved the way for the second season, released in May 2022, which was also well-received by viewers.
