Taylor Swift has shown her support for Deadpool & Wolverine! The 34-year-old singer shared her thoughts on the Ryan Reynolds-starrer film on social media Thursday. As the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker joined the excitement surrounding the new Marvel movie, she expressed her admiration and backing for “one of her best friends.”

Swift praised Reynolds in her Instagram story, lauding his dedication and hard work on the superhero film. “Over the past few years, I’ve seen one of my best friends pour his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film,” she wrote. “He’s created the best work of his life.
This film feels like a portal of joy, a wild escape from reality, and an ab sandwich. I don’t know how he did it,” the “Midnights” singer continued, taking a playful jab at Reynolds’ friendly rivalry with Hugh Jackman. “But that’s just Hugh for you!” she added. Referring to a photo she shared featuring herself with Jackman, Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Shawn Levy, Swift joked, “These other randoms crashed the photo, and we were too polite to ask them to leave.” She concluded by urging her fans to buy tickets for the action-comedy film.

Swift continued, “Deadpool & Wolverine is out TOMORROW! Here’s where to buy tickets if you love things that are incredibly awesome.” She wrapped up with a playful remark, “Shout out to Wade Wilson, aka my godkids’ sperm donor!” referencing Reynolds’ character in the film.
The “Fortnight” singer has maintained a close friendship with Reynolds and his wife, actress Blake Lively, for years. The 36-year-old Lively first bonded with Swift in 2015, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
