Following in the footsteps of Bollywood luminaries like Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan, Kiara Advani is poised to attend the esteemed Cannes Film Festival this year. As reported by Bombay Times, Kiara is scheduled to appear at the Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema Gala dinner during Cannes 2024.

Vanity Fair will host the event, which will unite six women from diverse backgrounds worldwide, acknowledging their significant contributions to the entertainment industry. Variety further disclosed that Cannes Film Festival 2024 will feature four panel discussions centered on global incentives and filmmaking. These discussions are scheduled to occur at La Plage Des Palmes on May 18, 2024. Kiara is slated to partake in the panel organized by the Red Sea International Film Festival.

Actors Aishwarya Rai and Aditi Rao Hydari will also be back at the latest edition of Cannes Film Festival as ambassadors for L’Oreal. While Aishwarya is a regular at Cannes, Aditi made her debut at the prestigious film festival in 2022.

During the esteemed film festival, a delegation comprising representatives from central and state governments, along with industry members, will highlight India’s creative economy at Marché du Films through a range of meaningful initiatives, as stated by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry. This marks the first instance of India hosting a Bharat Parv at the Cannes Film Festival, providing an avenue to engage with film luminaries, directors, producers, buyers, and sales agents worldwide while showcasing the country’s creative potential and rich talent pool.
