  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)

  • Sweetener of your choice (honey, maple syrup, or agave) to taste
  • A small amount of water (if using fresh turmeric)

Instructions:

  1. If using fresh turmeric, peel and grate a 1-inch piece of turmeric. You can use a grater or a knife for this.
  2. In a small saucepan, add a small amount of water and the grated turmeric (if using fresh turmeric). Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for a few minutes. This step helps soften the turmeric and brings out its flavor.
