The release date of “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” featuring Allu Arjun, has been a topic of great anticipation among movie enthusiasts. On Monday evening, the film’s producers utilized social media to officially unveil the movie’s release date. The much-awaited sequel is set to hit the screens on August 15, 2024.

Mythri Moviemakers, the production team behind “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” made a significant announcement on X. In their tweet, they declared, “Mark this date on your calendars. ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is set for a grand worldwide release on August 15, 2024. Pushpa Raj returns to dominate the box office.” While the new poster doesn’t prominently feature Allu Arjun, his hand is portrayed adorned with rings and bracelets, with visible bloodstains.

Back in 2021, “Pushpa 1: The Rise” emerged as a massive blockbuster across India, catapulting Allu Arjun to pan-India stardom. Moreover, just last month, he received the prestigious National Film Award for Best Actor.
The renowned composer Devi Sri Prasad, who was honored with the National Award for Best Music Direction (Songs) for “Pushpa: The Rise,” is set to return for the sequel. Arjun’s initial look from the upcoming movie was revealed earlier this year on the occasion of his 41st birthday.
This film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings. It also marks the return of Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Faasil as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
Completing the cast are actors Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay Ghosh.
Recently, Allu Arjun offered fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the “Pushpa: The Rule” sets in a special video feature shared on Instagram. Instagram posted the video last month with the caption, “Before heading to the set, actor @alluarjunonline (Allu Arjun) enjoys a relaxing morning. Understandably so. ‘Fans in India are unique, unlike anywhere else in the world. You have to experience it. I can’t put it into words.'” The filming location is the Ramoji Film City, situated in Hyderabad, India, renowned as one of the world’s largest film studio complexes and the home of “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” Allu Arjun’s latest action-packed sequel. The studio is also a regular gathering spot for fans eager to meet their beloved actor before shooting begins. Allu Arjun expressed, “They play a significant role in motivating me. Their love drives me to push my limits, and I aim to make them even prouder, continually.”
