A significant achievement has been reached by the 15th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The show, presented by Amitabh Bachchan, has unveiled its inaugural crorepati. Jaskaran, representing Punjab, has secured the distinction of being the initial contender to conquer the ₹1 crore prize and take on the ultimate ₹7 crore question.

Sony Entertainment Television’s official Instagram account shared a new promo on Thursday, stating, “Overcoming every difficulty, Jaskaran from the small village of Khalra in Punjab has reached the monumental ₹7 crore question in this game! Watch #KaunBanegaCrorepati, 4th & 5th September, Monday to Tuesday at 9 PM, exclusively on #SonyEntertainmentTelevision.”

The promo commences with host Amitabh Bachchan revealing the contestant’s ₹1 crore win. It then delves into a flashback about the contestant’s background and origin. Jaskaran, hailing from a modest village in Punjab, is introduced as one of the few graduates from the region. He also shares his aspiration to take the UPSC entrance exam, planning to make his maiden attempt next year. The promo concludes with Amitabh presenting Jaskaran with the final ₹7 crore question.

Jaskaran, the probable winner of the first ₹7 crore prize, expressed his thoughts about the recent promo on Instagram. His comment reads, “Thank you @sonytvofficial 🖤🙏.”
He also shared another promo from Sony Entertainment Television. In this video, Amitabh Bachchan reflects on the show’s journey since its inception in 2000, mentioning that although numerous contestants have won one crore rupees, no one has yet managed to conquer the 16th question, the ₹7 crore challenge. The video shows Jaskaran’s nervous anticipation as he faces this ultimate question, accompanied by a gulp of water.
The episodes featuring Jaskaran winning the ₹1 crore question and attempting the ₹7 crore one will air on Sony Entertainment Television at 9 pm on September 4 and 5.
