According to an official press release from BAPS Hindu Mandir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the majestic BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi on February 14. This temple marks the first traditional Hindu stone temple in the UAE.

In anticipation of the temple’s grand opening on a 27-acre plot of land in the Abu Mureikhah district, Swami Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of BAPS, has arrived in the UAE.

Welcome to the UAE. Your presence in our nation is a blessing. Your kindness deeply touches us, and we are grateful for your prayers,” expressed Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.

Swami Maharaj responded warmly, expressing, ‘Your love and respect deeply touch us. The leaders of the UAE are truly remarkable, noble, and generous-hearted.

At the BAPS Hindu Mandir temple in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, monks and visitors can be seen strolling in traditional Emirati attire

The temple was constructed using pink sandstone from Rajasthan and white marble from Italy. The stones were intricately carved in India before being transported to Dubai for assembly.

PM Modi’s visit will continue to symbolize the strong bonds between India and the UAE. This marks Modi’s seventh official visit to the UAE during his tenure as Prime Minister.
