Multifaceted artist Farhan Akhtar has at last unveiled the fresh face of Don. Ranveer Singh is poised to succeed Shah Rukh Khan in the iconic role of Don, once again finding himself pursued by the ‘Police of 11 nations.’ A novel teaser introduces Ranveer to the franchise’s devoted enthusiasts.
In a tweet accompanied by the teaser, Farhan expressed, “Embarking on a New Era #Don3.” While he mentioned Pushkar Gayatri in the post, it’s noteworthy that Farhan will be at the helm of the film as the director.
The teaser commences with Ranveer seated in a skyscraper, his back to the camera. Adorned in a leather jacket and boots, he casually smokes a cigarette before confidently turning to the camera and unveiling himself as the enigmatic Don.
On Tuesday, Farhan took to his Instagram account to drop a hint about an upcoming era of Don. The message conveyed, “In 1978, the nation witnessed the emergence of Don, with the illustrious Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. While the allure of the initial film remains intact, Excel Entertainment is thrilled to announce the return of Farhan Akhtar as the director of Don. Having firmly established his legacy with the iconic two-part action series featuring Shah Rukh Khan in 2006 and 2011, the director is poised to redefine the art of storytelling once again in Don 3.”
