CAT 2023: Aspiring candidates must complete their registration on the official website, iimcat.ac.in, in order to appear for the examination.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has initiated the registration process for the CAT 2023 (Common Admission Test 2023). Aspirants who wish to participate in the exam need to complete their registration on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.

The registration process started at 10 am today and the last date to apply is September 13

The admit cards for the CAT 2023 exam will be provided to registered candidates on October 25. The examination is scheduled to take place in three slots on November 26, across approximately 155 test cities.

To be eligible for CAT 2023, candidates are required to possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution, with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories).

Application fee

The application fee of IIM CAT 2023 is ₹1,200 for SC, ST and PwD candidates. All other candidates have to pay ₹2,400 as application fee.

Result Announcement

The CAT results are expected to be announced in the second week of January 2024, and the scores will remain valid until December 31, 2024.

CAT does not have a centralized counseling process, and candidates who qualify in the examination must individually apply to each institution for admissions. It’s essential to understand that meeting the CAT qualification criteria alone does not guarantee admission eligibility, as applicants will also need to undergo additional screening rounds at the institute level.
