Salman Khan recently unveiled the new theme for Bigg Boss 18 in a behind-the-scenes promo. The reality show is set to premiere on October 6.
Salman Khan returns as the host of Bigg Boss for its 18th season, featuring a revamped format. In a recently released BTS promo by Colors, Salman introduced the audience to the show’s futuristic theme, highlighting a concept where the contestants’ futures will be predicted throughout the series.
Salman Khan introduces ‘time ka tandav
The video captures Salman Khan being filmed from multiple angles, offering a glimpse into the editing process and promo graphics. As the visuals transition between behind-the-scenes and on-camera moments, the voice of Bigg Boss can be heard in the background.“Iss baar Bigg Boss jaante hai Gharwalon ka future (This time Bigg Boss knows the future of housemates).” Salman then says, “Yeh aankh dekhti bhi thi aur dikhati bhi thi par sirf aaj ka haal. Ab khulegi ek aisi aankh jis se likha jayega itihas ka pal, dekhegi yeh aanewala kal. Yeh jaanegi har neeyat jo kal bigdegi. Ab hoga time ka tandav (This eye used to see and show everything but only the present. Now there is one more eye which will script history by predicting the future. Now every future wrongdoing will be visible to this eye. Now everyone will witness the dance of the time).”

About Bigg Boss
Salman Khan has been hosting Bigg Boss since its fourth season. Prior to him, the first three seasons were hosted by Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty, and Amitabh Bachchan, respectively. Salman also stepped in to replace Karan Johar as the host for Bigg Boss OTT Season 2. However, Anil Kapoor took over hosting duties for Bigg Boss OTT Season 3, as Salman was occupied with other professional commitments. The show is based on the Dutch reality game show Big Brother, created by Endemol in the Netherlands. In India, Bigg Boss has aired 17 seasons and three spin-off versions over the years.
